Amapiano artists Mpura and Killer Kau, as well as emerging artist and DeeJay - Khanya "The Voice", DeeJay Thando Tot, and SMEA's official road manager Thando TD have sadly passed on after being involved in a fatal car crash on Saturday the 7th of August. Thando Tot was the DJ to Killer Kau, and Thando TD was the official road manager at the Soweto Music & Entertainment Academy. Since the news broke, tributes have been flooding in from the Amapiano and global music communities, including some heartfelt tributes from the likes of Riky Rick, Nadia Nakai and Lady Du. The news has also had many fellow South Africans mourning the loss of the lives lost in this tragic accident.
