Known as the 1st Hip Hop DJ to receive a SAMA, Lutendo Kungoane, known by the stage name DJ Sliqe, started his journey as a DJ at the age of 16. In 2016 he became host to the show “No Holds Bars” on the online radio station Touch Central and later went to Touch HD to host “Bangers and Mash-Ups”. He released his first album “Injayam Vol. 1” in 2016 followed by “Navey Black“ in 2018. The DJ released his latest work “Injayam Vol. 2” in 2019 which got him nominated for a SAMA in 2020.
